This Refund Policy applies to payments made on the LakPage platform (https://lakpage.com) operated by ChatCript Technologies (Pvt) Ltd ("ChatCript", "we", "us"). Please read this policy carefully before making any payment.
1. What You Are Paying For
LakPage offers a chatbot top-up feature that allows page owners to add balance to their page's AI chatbot account. This balance is consumed as visitors interact with the page's chatbot. Top-ups are currently handled by direct bank transfer: you contact us via email or WhatsApp, we share bank-account details, and we credit your tokens once the transfer is received.
2. Nature of the Service
Chatbot top-ups are purchases of prepaid digital service credits. Once a top-up is completed, the balance is immediately added to the page's chatbot account and becomes available for use. Credits are consumed automatically as the AI chatbot handles visitor conversations.
3. Refund Eligibility
Because chatbot top-ups are digital service credits that are delivered and available for use instantly upon payment, refunds are generally not available once a top-up has been successfully processed.
However, we will consider a refund in the following circumstances:
- Duplicate payment — you were charged more than once for the same top-up due to a technical error.
- Incorrect amount — you were charged a different amount than what was displayed at checkout.
- Payment processed but balance not credited — your payment was successful but the chatbot balance was not updated.
- Unauthorised transaction — a payment was made from your account without your consent.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at sales@lakpage.com within 7 days of the transaction date. Please include:
- Your name and the email address linked to your LakPage account.
- The page name the top-up was made for.
- The transaction date and amount.
- The bank-transfer reference (and any confirmation email or screenshot you have).
- A brief description of the issue.
5. Refund Processing
We will review your request and respond within 3 business days. If approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout (credit/debit card, bank transfer, etc.).
- Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- If a refund is issued for a top-up that has already been partially consumed, the refund amount will be adjusted to reflect the unused balance only.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:
- You simply changed your mind after making a top-up.
- The chatbot balance has been fully consumed through normal usage.
- Your page was suspended or removed due to a violation of our Terms of Service.
7. Cancellation
There is no subscription or recurring billing. Each chatbot top-up is a one-time payment. You are never obligated to make additional payments. If you no longer wish to use the chatbot, simply stop topping up — the chatbot will pause when the balance reaches zero.
8. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with our response to a refund request, you may raise a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We will cooperate fully with any chargeback investigation.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you of significant changes through the Platform.
